What skills and experience we're looking for
The governing body at Delamere School is seeking to appoint a dynamic leader as Deputy Headteacher.
We are an Outstanding school for pupils aged 3-11 with co-existing & complex learning difficulties including autism and are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:
- Can demonstrate an ability to provide outstanding teaching in a SEND provision.
- Shares the Governors’ high expectations of our school and has a strong commitment to continuing to maintain our outstanding provision.
- Has a proven record in being able to lead, manage and motivate other staff.
- Is a reflective practitioner committed to bringing out the best in all members of the team.
- Will set and achieve high standards in teaching and learning.
- Is relentlessly aspirational for ALL children regardless of their needs and abilities.
- Will consult and communicate effectively with all members of the school community.
- Possesses high levels of enthusiasm, resilience and is committed to making a difference.
- Has a solution focused ethos and an optimistic outlook within a challenging context.

We are a school for children aged between 3 and 11 years with learning difficulties and additional complex needs such as autism, physical or sensory impairments.
