About the Role

Working closely with the Head of School and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school and securing the highest standards of educational provision.

You will:

  • Provide strategic leadership to drive school improvement.
  • Lead and champion excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Use performance data effectively to improve student outcomes.
  • Support the development of an ambitious and inclusive curriculum.
  • Promote high expectations, aspiration and achievement for all students.
  • Lead and develop staff through coaching, challenge and professional development.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and aspirational school culture.
  • Contribute to the wider work of Lydiate Learning Trust through collaboration and partnership.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented leader who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status and degree-level qualifications.
  • Has substantial senior leadership experience and a successful track record of whole-school improvement.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Has experience of analysing and using data to drive improvement.
  • Is passionate about raising standards and improving life chances for young people.
  • Can inspire, motivate and develop staff at all levels.
  • Has the vision, resilience and determination to help lead our school on its journey to becoming Outstanding.
  • Shares our values of collaboration, accountability, respect and continuous improvement.
