About the Role
Working closely with the Head of School and senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school and securing the highest standards of educational provision.
You will:
- Provide strategic leadership to drive school improvement.
- Lead and champion excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.
- Use performance data effectively to improve student outcomes.
- Support the development of an ambitious and inclusive curriculum.
- Promote high expectations, aspiration and achievement for all students.
- Lead and develop staff through coaching, challenge and professional development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and aspirational school culture.
- Contribute to the wider work of Lydiate Learning Trust through collaboration and partnership.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and talented leader who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status and degree-level qualifications.
- Has substantial senior leadership experience and a successful track record of whole-school improvement.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment.
- Has experience of analysing and using data to drive improvement.
- Is passionate about raising standards and improving life chances for young people.
- Can inspire, motivate and develop staff at all levels.
- Has the vision, resilience and determination to help lead our school on its journey to becoming Outstanding.
- Shares our values of collaboration, accountability, respect and continuous improvement.
