Deputy Headteacher job summary

Grove CE Primary School is on a journey of expansion, with new facilities planned to meet the needs of our rapidly growing community. Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking to appoint a strong, ambitious (teaching) deputy headteacher to strengthen and enhance our senior leadership team to bring about further positive change for the children we serve. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation of an innovative and bespoke curriculum and leading our wonderful team of support staff. About you? You will be someone who: • Is an inspiring teacher who has clear and demonstrable experience in developing pedagogy and practice • Will support the headteacher in leading teaching and learning through curriculum development • Has the desire to ‘do whatever it takes’ to ensure pupils reach their full potential • Will lead by example to motivate both pupils and staff and be committed to continued professional development • Will fully support, promote and uphold the distinctive Christian ethos of the school, putting children at the centre of our work Key information: Salary: L4 – 8 Closing date: Tuesday 18th January 2022 at 23:59 Interviews: Tuesday 25th January 2022 Start date: April 2022 Contract type: Permanent - full time with a four-day teaching commitment
