What skills and experience we're looking for
Highgate Wood School is looking to appoint an exceptional leader to join our experienced and skilful leadership team as Deputy Headteacher from September 2023. We have deliberately not assigned specific roles and responsibilities to this post as we are simply looking for the best candidate. Roles will be determined upon appointment. This is an exciting opportunity to join our good and successful school. We are looking for someone who will make a positive difference to our team and will demonstrate the positive leadership qualities required for a school with our ambition. We are particularly interested in receiving applications from candidates from ethnic global majorities as we seek to ensure that our leadership team reflects the diversity of our school community.

Also, this post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations
