DEPUTY HEADTEACHER
L19 – L23
We are looking to appoint a well-qualified and talented Deputy Headteacher to join our very sucessful, Outstanding Academy. The post is available from 1st September 2020
In August 2019 Kesteven and Grantham Girls' School achieved some of its best ever results with 91% of our students achieving 5+ in both English and Mathematics, a progress 8 score of 0.92 and an attainment 8 score of 7.0. The school has a large sixth form of approximately 320 students with an average A-level grade of B- achieved in 2019. The placed KGGS as one of the top performing state schools in the East Midlands according to the Sunday Times Schools guide 2020.
This is an exciting time to be joining KGGS. You will have the opportunity to work with a strong, supportive and experienced body of staff and governors alongside students who are committed to their studies and determined to achieve highly.
The successful candidate will lead our safeguarding team, working closely with both pastoral and support staff. Alongside this you will line manage a number of key departments, contribute towards the strategic leadership of the school alongside the senior leadership team whilst having the opportunity to develop further as a highly competent and successful leader.
A strong commitment to the ethos of selective school education is essential.
