Deputy Headteacher job summary

Lime Trust recently took over Lime Academy Hartwell and the school is at the start of a long journey to significantly improve. If you are looking for a challenge, which will be incredibly rewarding then this is the role for you. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who has:

- Leadership and management of SEND experience

- Experience of leading change and improvement across a school and excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills

- Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management strategies to effectively meet individual learners needs

- Ability to provide pupils with the excitement of a relevant, challenging and creative curriculum that raises standards of education for all

- A clear understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and experience of working with children with a range of complex needs

- High expectations of themselves and others

- Tenacity, passion, drive and ambition

The postholder will be part of the Senior Leadership Team.
