What skills and experience we're looking for
Due to the promotion of our current Deputy Headteacher, we are seeking an inspirational and dynamic leader
with vision, passion and drive, who is ambitious for our children, staff and school community. We want to
recruit a Deputy Headteacher with the desire to support in leading us forward and to continue to build on the
good work already in place.
We are looking for someone who;
Is an outstanding practitioner who believes that all children can succeed, regardless of background.
Has a love of teaching and learning and a commitment to ensure the very best for every child
Has strong leadership skills and who is commitment to maintaining and further developing high standards
of teaching and learning, enabling each and every child to reach their full potential.
Will engage effectively, communicate well and build upon positive relationships with children, staff, families
and professional development

Matthew Arnold Primary School is a single form entry school situated in the Dingle area of Liverpool. In
addition to our thriving school, we have a 2 year old provision, a speech and language resource base unit and
a children’s centre. We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who is passionate about education, who
constantly strives for excellence and shares our commitment to ‘Developing True Potential’ for all, socially,
emotionally and academically.
