What skills and experience we're looking for
As Deputy Headteacher, you will work closely with the Senior Deputy Headteacher and Headteacher to provide strategic leadership, professional direction, and operational support. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading on teaching and learning, driving consistent excellence across the curriculum.
- Supporting and developing staff at all stages of their career.
- Contributing to school improvement and ensuring high standards of achievement.
- Being a visible, positive presence throughout the school, supporting both children and colleagues.
This role does not include a teaching timetable, allowing you to focus fully on strategic leadership and school-wide improvement.
