Our school has lots of opportunities and ideas for change, so this is a well-timed opportunity for a new deputy to join a professional and supportive team and really make a difference as we continue to move the school further forward.

• the ability to adapt to an ever changing educational environment to ensure sustainability of the school and maintain the quality of education provided
• a proven ability to continuously monitor and implement new developments and practices in education to improve outcomes for children
• a strength in curriculum, assessment and data analysis and how this is used to inform and plan next steps of learning
• the ability to recognise and demonstrate outstanding classroom practice for pupils of all ability levels
• a collaborative focus with the ability to develop and nurture effective partnerships with other schools

We can offer:
• an exciting opportunity to recruit new AHTs with the Headteacher and work as part of a developing senior leadership team committed to developing an inspiring curriculum which is motivating, relevant and accessible to all
• the opportunity to develop and grow your skills, strengths and leadership
• a strong, conscientious and enthusiastic staff team who work together to provide the best education and support for our pupils
• a welcoming, friendly school with enthusiastic children who enjoy learning and work hard

About Prince of Wales Primary School

Prince of Wales Primary School opened in 1950 and is situated in Enfield Lock, North East of the London Borough of Enfield. Our 3-form school benefits from extensive grounds including gardens, pond, sports fields, playgrounds and environmental areas. The local environment offers a variety of historical, rural and industrial resources which provide an excellent stimulus for historical, geographical and science studies. Through the road, rail, bus and cycle networks the school has good access to the borough, the Capital, outer London boroughs and our neighbouring Counties of Hertfordshire and Essex. The School works closely with a range of stakeholders and agencies to provide the best education for our children and support for families and the local community.
We benefit from the cultural diversity within our continuously changing local and wider community and have established rich partnerships which support our children’s development and broaden their experiences. We are an inclusive School that has high aspirations for all our children’s achievements; regardless of their learning abilities, background or prior education. Our pupils are taught and coached to be resilient to the many challenges in their lives; overall they are well motivated and ambitious. We have used Pivotal training to inform our positive behaviour strategies and rules: be ready, be safe, be respectful.
