Our new Deputy Head teacher will: 

  • Play a key role in driving whole-school improvement, contributing to our ongoing journey of excellence 

  • Be a visible, inspiring leader with high expectations for all pupils and staff 

  • Work collaboratively within a supportive, forward-thinking leadership team 

  • Maintain some teaching commitment, ensuring leadership remains closely grounded in classroom practice 

  • Support the headteacher to improve teaching, learning and raise academic standards 

  • Inspire, coach and develop staff to become expert practitioners and future leaders 

We are seeking a passionate educator who is an excellent classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of effective teaching and learning. Someone who is deeply committed to continuous professional growth and school improvement, but can also bring positivity, resilience and that all-important sense of humour.
