Deputy Headteacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational leader to the position of Deputy Head at St Nicolas C of E Primary Academy.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who will have the vision, expertise and drive to further develop this already very successful school. You will join a very supportive senior leadership team and help to lead a talented and hard-working staff who are highly motivated to provide children with aspirational, challenging and engaging learning experiences.
This is a wonderful and exciting opportunity for a leadership position within an extremely caring, successful, and oversubscribed two-form entry primary school.
The successful candidate will have:
• The enthusiasm and energy to sustain and further enhance the excellent teaching practice in our school
• The ability to build on the strong existing relationships between the parish church and the wider St. Nicolas C of E community
• A track record of securing tangible success and outstanding outcomes
• The interpersonal skills that secure the confidence of all stakeholders
• Experience of developing a culture of learning and continuous improvement of staff and students
• Strong monitoring and evaluation skills
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of current developments and the latest educational research (such as curriculum development and how pupils learn)
