Deputy Headteacher job summary
Due to the promotion of the current Deputy Headteacher, we are seeking to appoint a leader with a strong track record of school improvement at SLT level. You will be joining Thornhill Primary School at an exciting time and working closely with the recently appointed Headteacher to secure rapid and sustained school improvement.
WE ARE SEEKING A PROFESSIONAL INDIVIDUAL WHO:
• has excellent pedagogy and the ability to support both staff and children to be the best that they can be
• understands and can articulate the importance of systematic, regular, and accurate assessment and its importance in securing good outcomes for all children
• has a creative and innovative approach to curriculum planning to encourage children to become lifelong learners
• enjoys working as part of a team and will bring both professionalism and a sense of fun to their work.
