• Track record as an outstanding classroom practitioner who is equally passionate about the emotional and academic development and progress of children.

• Deep knowledge of teaching and learning and the ability to model excellent practice.

• Good understanding of all aspects of the curriculum and how it meets the needs of all pupils.

• The ability to play a key role in the implementation of an exciting, creative and engaging curriculum.

• A passion and dedication to excellence in education and high expectations.

• An ambition to lead, build teams and the patience and capability to support other leaders in school in academic, pastoral and business matters.

• Total commitment to ensure the safeguarding of all children in the role of Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

• A genuine commitment to Inclusion and belief that ‘All Can Achieve’, ensuring no learner is left behind.

• Experience of, or an interest in, taking responsibility for the strategic leadership of SEND across the school.
