We are seeking a committed, inspiring and forward-thinking Deputy Principal to join our leadership team and play a central role in shaping the future of Krishna Avanti Primary School.

What will you do?

  • Lead on raising pupil attainment by setting high expectations, monitoring progress, and fostering a learning culture that is ambitious, inclusive, and engaging.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the school by helping shape and implement policies, managing resources effectively, and ensuring strong accountability.
  • Promote a broad and inspiring curriculum within a positive and inclusive environment that supports pupils’ academic, personal, and social development.
  • Support the Principal in safeguarding, wellbeing, behaviour, community partnerships, and, when required, act as the Principal in their absence.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a primary school or similar educational context
  • QTS Qualified
  • Experience in building effective relationships with staff, parents and carers, governors, and the wider school community
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of wider educational social issues
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students
