Oasis Academy Brightstowe is a proud, community‑focused secondary school serving the heart of North Bristol. With a new Principal recently appointed, the academy is entering an exciting new phase of stability, direction, and renewed ambition.

As we continue to strengthen our provision and raise aspirations across the academy, we are seeking an exceptional Deputy Principal to join our leadership team and help shape the next phase of Brightstowe’s development.

This is a pivotal role for a leader who is energised by challenge, motivated by impact, and committed to delivering an exceptional education for all.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading curriculum planning and development across the academy
  • Managing timetabling to support effective teaching and learning
  • Supporting staff to deliver high‑quality lessons and secure strong outcomes
  • Championing student wellbeing, inclusion, and achievement
  • Working closely with the Principal and SLT to ensure smooth, effective operations
