What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you:
- A skilled English specialist with a passion for championing the needs of our most vulnerable students?
- Prepared to complete (if you have not already) the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASENDO)?
Do you have:
- Experience of working with/supporting students with SEND and a good understanding of SEND?
- Outstanding leadership qualities?
- Great inter-personal and communication skills?
- Excellent teaching ability (QTS is essential)?
- Ambition and drive to ensure all our students achieve their potential?
- Excellent organisational skills and an appetite for hard work?

This post represents an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified English specialist to share in the work of this thriving department and to work with a very supportive team housed in exceptional facilities. It is a full-time, permanent vacancy with an April 2025 start.

Lytchett Minster is a successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school with approximately 1604 students, 316 of whom are in the successful sixth form. The learning environment is stunning with extensive and beautiful grounds; the school site is comprised of South Lytchett Manor House together with a number of modern extensions including the Arts block and theatre.
