DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY TEACHER - FOOD/TEXTILES job summary

Required for September 2020 to join an outstanding school with a successful Design and Technology department. The ability to teach design and technology working with food is required. Knowledge of textiles would be useful. This is a post that is suitable for both new entrants to the profession and/or experienced colleagues wishing to broaden their experience. We offer a full range of courses at KS3/4 and an innovative 14-19 vocational and post 16 curriculum, judged as ‘good’ by OFSTED (2018) with an outstanding Sixth Form. The school makes wide use of portable devices for eLearning. The successful applicant will be a skilled ICT user, able to take full advantage of the school’s e-learning programme for staff, students and families. The Arnewood School is a high achieving Academy, attractively situated on the Hampshire/Dorset border, 10 minutes from both the New Forest and the sea. The Arnewood School is judged OfSTED good with post-16 results in the top 10% of school in the UK.
