What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and self-motivated individual with excellent organisational skills as a Design and Technology Technician. Reporting directly to the Head of Art, Design and Technology; the successful applicant will be required to prepare materials and equipment for practical lessons assist in demonstrations, be proficient in a range of CAD software and be able to provide support maintain and monitor consumables and equipment, carry out weekly safety checks, as well as other tasks listed in the job description.

The successful candidate will be expected to support the delivery of the Academy’s Strategic Plan and adhere to our values. A level of accountability, autonomy and self-motivation is required for this role. If you are an enthusiastic team-player with a desire to make a difference and contribute to the successful learning of our students we would be delighted to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience of working in the education sector.

- Experience of working on a reception.

- Experience of data input and management.

- Excellent ICT skills.

- Ability to work to deadlines and with a high level of detail.
