What skills and experience we're looking for

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic and highly successful Design and Technology faculty as a Part-Time Workshop Technician. This role involves overseeing the management and organisation of resources for workshop-based subjects, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day lesson support, and assisting with the preparation and distribution of classroom materials. Key responsibilities will include resource management, photocopying, and preparing materials to support both teaching staff and students. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of machinery, ICT, tools, and manufacturing processes, along with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and a genuine enthusiasm for designing and making.
