What skills and experience we're looking for

Sidmouth College is seeking to appoint a part-time Food Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable, enthusiastic, flexible and motivated Technician to join the College to support the Design & Technology Department in the Food and Nutrition area.

The successful candidate will help to support teaching in lessons by preparing materials, laying out and clearing the room for lesson delivery on a lesson-by-lesson basis. The role will also include ensuring that all ovens, hobs, fridges, worktops and cupboards are kept clean and ordered at all times, and checking and replenishing stocks as directed by the HoD and liaising with suppliers, including assisting in weekly shopping trips.
