TITLE: Design Technology Technician
SALARY: Grade B Points 3-4

RESPONSIBLE TO: Executive Headteacher via Assistant Principal (Raising Aspirations), via Head of Department
EFFECTIVE FROM: Easter 2024 or ASAP

We are seeking a committed Technology Technician. Who can inspire and enthuse our students to achieve their potential. In this role you will take an active part in demonstrations and practical technology lessons, supporting students and be willing to go the extra mile for our students. Duties will include setting up materials and equipment for practical work, along with other materials for students to use. You will maintain and clean equipment, be responsible for ordering resources. Experience of using workshop tools and machinery, experience of CAD/CAM machines and cutters would be an advantage but is not essential, training will be provided. The successful candidate will join a forward-thinking and ambitious department dedicated to improving the life opportunities of our students.

You will be required to have a good subject knowledge to support children in the full ability range teaching across ages 11 – 16 and be willing to go the extra mile for our students.
