Design & Technology Technician job summary

Pool Hayes Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and organised Design & Technology Technician, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of secondary education. The successful candidate will work in partnership with class teachers to support with resources and learning within the Design & Technology departments.
The appointed candidate will carry out planned maintenance of tools and equipment and support teachers and students with practical activities in a department that is a well led, dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a good basic education to GCSE level (to include English and Maths grade C/4), have previous experience of working with CAD Fusion or equivalent and the ability to use and maintain Design Technology and Engineering equipment. Experience within the areas of Design, Technology, Graphics, Engineering and Art is desirable. You will join an academy which is dynamic and inspiring; creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
