Pay scale: H2/H3 (SCP 3-6) £22,737 - £23,893 paid pro rata for hours and weeks worked
Hours: 15 hours per week
Weeks: Term time only (38 weeks) + Inset Days as required (0.339036 FTE)
Actual salary: £7,708.66 - £8,100.59 (includes holiday entitlement)
Ridgeway Academy is part of the Ambition Education Trust (AET). The Ambition Education Trust (AET) consists of ten schools in Hertfordshire; three primary, one nursery and infants’, one juniors and five secondary. Our Trust launched in September 2024 following the amalgamation of two established Multi Academy Trusts (MATs), Alban Academies Trust and Atlas Multi Academy Trust. We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our talented support staff team. The Design Technology Technician will provide support to teaching staff and classes in the Technology area, and maintain the upkeep of the workshop and equipment.

We are looking for someone who:
Working knowledge of Health & Safety issues or willing to work towards qualification in basic food hygiene
Well organised
First Aider or willingness to train
Has good interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with a wide range of people
Has a flexible and adaptable approach to working in a very busy environment
Works hard, is enthusiastic and self-motivated
