What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced technician or “creative, practical person” to provide support to our Design & Technology Department. The successful candidate will be expected to manage, maintain and prepare materials in readiness for lessons across the Faculty and support the D&T staff in delivering the curriculum, by supporting lessons and facilitating the use of specialist tools and machinery. The successful candidate will need to be organised, forward thinking competent in the use of basic IT programmes (email, word, excel) and work well with both staff and students of all abilities.

The Wavell School is a highly successful Specialist Technology College with an excellent track record for professional development. The success of the School continues to be recognised at County level and the Faculty in involved in exciting projects through our contacts and other local companies.
