Wombourne High School are recruiting for a D&T Technician to start in September 2024, this vacancy is available on either a full time or part time contract and you will be employed on a term time only contract (39 weeks per year).
We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.
We are looking to appoint a reliable, capable D&T Technician to provide general technical support to the D&T department.You will work under the direction and instruction of the Head of Department.At Wombourne High School, we highly value personal attributes of hard work, positivity and kindness, and we are looking for staff who can model these values.
You should have excellent organisation and communications skills and it would be advantageous to have experience of working with a variety of materials and the ability to maintain and develop existing systems providing support to teaching staff, rooms and resources in all areas related to the technology curriculum.
Your role involves regulated activity with children on a daily basis and this post is subject to an enhanced DBS check. We will require you to complete an on-line DBS if you are appointed.
