We are looking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the role of Designated Safeguarding Lead. This individual will put the safeguarding of all as a priority. The individual will be passionate about ensuring the best outcomes for all students, regardless of their starting points. This is a crucial role within the school.
Ideally, you will have experience in Safeguarding and be DSL level 3 trained, although an exceptional candidate who is willing to learn and take the qualification, will be considered.
Hornsey School for Girls is an ambitious school, and seeks like-minded, innovative individuals to join the warm and welcoming staff team.
The successful candidate for the post would ideally:
- Have a degree and training in Safeguarding
- Be child centred with empathy and compassion for students.
- Have the ability to work as a team and with a range of people including students, staff parents, stakeholders and external agencies.
- Understand the relevant legal frameworks for safeguarding and have a working knowledge of all polices and best practice.
- Have a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable personality
