Designated Safeguarding Lead (Maternity Cover) job summary
With effect from July 2025, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to this vital role, to cover the maternity leave of the substantive post holder.
This is a key role in the future development of the Academy. The post holder will be responsible for driving the inclusion agenda by working with VP’s, SENDCO, Year Leaders, Tutors and other stakeholders to ensure high quality provision for vulnerable students. We are looking for someone who is committed, confident and passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed.
OSCA is a welcoming academy which has benefitted from a major re-build and refurbishment programme. This has created exciting, new and well-equipped learning spaces. We are becoming increasingly the academy of choice in our community and are full and oversubscribed once again.
We are in very close proximity to Birmingham city centre with excellent transport links by car, bus and train; and are just a few minutes from Junction 2 of the M5.
