What skills and experience we're looking for

The main elements of this role are:
To be the schools Designated Safeguarding Lead; Safeguarding policies and processes; Safeguarding induction and training; Safeguarding compliance.


Applicants Must:

  • Hold a degree or equivalent qualification, in a relevant subject, such as: education, health, social care or equivalent and evidence of a commitment to continuing learning and professional development OR at least 3 years’ experience working within the field of safeguarding;
  • Be articulate and able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with teachers, pupils, parents and multi disciplinary professionals;
  • Have excellent administrative skills;
  • Be computer literate;
  • Be highly efficient and organised.
