Digital Content and Communications Officer job summary

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to lead on the creation and delivery of high-quality digital content and communications that promote the values, achievements, and community of Queen Elizabeth’s School, Barnet. This role will manage the School’s digital presence across social media, websites, and email campaigns, ensuring consistent branding and engaging storytelling that enhances the School’s reputation.

The postholder will bring creative ideas, technical skill and a strong eye for detail across multiple platforms to further strengthen the School’s brand and support its educational mission.

We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative and self-motivated individual able to demonstrate:

  • An impressive portfolio of creative content, including some graphic design, photography and video production.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • An ability to adapt tone and content to suit a variety of audiences and media, developing powerful stories and interesting angles on news.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Confidence in using editing, production, content management and graphic design software.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, willing to share ideas and support colleagues, thus making a wide contribution to the life of the School.

The postholder will work closely with the Head of External Relations and be based in a welcoming and professional Business Administration team.

The contractual terms will be agreed on appointment, but it is anticipated that our new colleague will work Monday to Friday, term-time only.
