About Us

The Four Stones Multi Academy Trust is a family of like-minded, forward-thinking, inclusive schools based in the West Midlands. The Trust is currently home to three schools (over 3000 students in total) all with differing contexts and serving different communities. We also have a large SCITT and act as the Teaching School Hub for Sandwell and Dudley. We are an organisation that aims to make a difference every single day to the lives of young people in our communities, as well as being a fulfilling and enjoyable place for colleagues to work.

Our well established SCITT has gone from strength to strength, bucking national trends in terms of recruitment. We are the largest SCITT in the West Midlands with over 130 postgraduate and undergraduate trainees enrolled in 2023/24. It really is an exciting time to join us as we look to continue with our growth strategy and embed the ITT core content framework.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Director of SCITT who will have an immediate impact and will lead our ITT provision after successful reaccreditation for September 2024.

The successful candidate will be a highly ambitious, inspired, and enthusiastic professional who will work with others to create a shared strategic vision which motivates trainees and staff alike. You will lead on all strategic and operational development, ensuring the SCITT provides consistently high-quality training in line with the core content framework. You will be responsible for the recruitment, assessment and accreditation of trainees. You will take a lead role in the further development of relationships between the SCITT, host schools and external agencies and will be accountable for the SCITT outcomes and quality assurance processes.
