The Trust is currently home to three schools (over 3000 students in total) all with differing contexts and serving different communities. We also have a large SCITT and act as the Teaching School Hub for Sandwell and Dudley. We are an organisation that aims to make a difference every single day to the lives of young people in our communities, as well as being a fulfilling and enjoyable place for colleagues to work.

Our well established SCITT has gone from strength to strength, bucking national trends in terms of recruitment. We are the largest SCITT in the West Midlands with over 130 postgraduate and undergraduate trainees enrolled in 2023/24. It really is an exciting time to join us as we look to continue with our growth strategy and embed the ITT core content framework.

We are looking for an experienced Director of SCITT who will have an immediate impact and will lead our ITT provision after successful reaccreditation for September 2024.

The successful candidate will be a highly ambitious, inspired, and enthusiastic professional who will work with others to create a shared strategic vision which motivates trainees and staff alike. You will lead on all strategic and operational development, ensuring the SCITT provides consistently high-quality training in line with the core content framework. Haybridge High School & Sixth Form is an 11 – 18 comprehensive school and a founding partner of The Four Stones Multi Academy Trust. The school is situated in the north of Worcestershire and serves a community of five villages. Annually oversubscribed, Haybridge High School & Sixth Form has maintained an ‘outstanding’ Ofsted judgement since its first inspection in 1996. At its simplest, the school’s mission statement remains the same each year and that is to work to achieve the best possible outcomes for all our students thereby ensuring the best life chances for everybody in our care. The school prides itself on adding value to all its students and in 2018 saw a Progress 8 score at GCSE of +0.73 with 70% of the cohort achieving a grade 5 or higher in English & Mathematics This pride in the examination performance of our students is underpinned by a belief that ‘an education’ is more than just a set of qualifications but is an experience which allows young people to enhance their natural talents, gifts and abilities. We strive to ensure that all our students are supported to be the articulate, tolerant, resilient and caring young people who will go into the world beyond Haybridge as lifelong learners capable of achieving great things and making a difference. The school became a National Support School (and the Headteacher Caroline Hoddinott a National Leader in Education) and a Teaching School in 2011, an Academy in 2012, a SCITT (School Centred Teacher Training) in 2015 and in partnership with King Charles I School in Kidderminster, a MAT in 2018.
