Director of Humanities job summary

We believe that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of All Saints Academy. This is a post within the Academy which has been created to strengthen the Humanities Curriculum Area and we are seeking to appoint a dynamic, ambitious individual who will promote and develop it further.

We are offering this role as Director of Humanities as we wish to attract a colleague with appropriate experience to help in raising experience. As a result we expect the successful candidate to make a real difference to the life chances of the students we serve and support us on our journey to outstanding.

We are looking for a Director of Humanities who will oversee Geography, History and Religious Studies and who will raise expectation and help students to fully appreciate their experience in the teaching of these subjects.

As a senior member of staff you will contribute to the overall leadership and management of the Academy and be active in promoting its aims, and supporting an ethos that promotes achievement and high standards.

You will report directly to the Senior Leadership team.
