Tyne Coast Academy Trust represents the joining of schools across the north-east region who share a collective vision for excellence in education at all stages. The Trust currently consists of five schools, three secondary schools and two primary schools. The vision of the Trust is to be an outstanding MAT, providing excellence in education at all stages.
We are seeking an exceptional Director of ICT to shape and lead the ICT strategy and team in our Multi-Academy Trust. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of education, innovation, and technology.
As a senior leader, you will drive the development and delivery of a trust-wide ICT strategy, ensuring robust, secure, and future-proofed infrastructure that supports teaching, learning, and operational excellence. You will work closely with executive leaders, school leaders, and external partners to implement an ICT strategy to enhance efficiency and improve teaching and learning to ensure our digital ecosystem empowers every student and staff member. You will be responsible for leading and managing the IT Services Team to deliver outstanding service to staff, students and the Central Team. You will also work closely with the COO and our external partners to support the leadership of and manage the strategic and operations delivery of data protection and privacy compliance across the Trust and will also lead on ensuring the Trust meets the DfE Digital and Technology Standards for Schools and Keeping Children Safe in Education requirements.
You will bring a combination of technical, managerial, and interpersonal skills. With an excellent knowledge of the technology environment, ideally within education.
