The Director of Maths will be a member of our Extended Senior Leadership Team working alongside our SLT and other Core Subject Directors. Working within a school that has distinct positive values that both staff and students embody. You will be passionate about your subject and want all our students to develop a love of maths and be taught by the very best in our profession, giving them every opportunity to thrive.
You will be part of a team of lead professionals with responsibility for quality of subject provision, curriculum, teaching and assessment and will be accountable along with the Senior Leadership Team for subject performance and improvement.
You will work with the Headteacher and SLT to accelerate improvement, raise standards and build capacity. Planning and teaching high quality lessons, delivering intervention, progress of students and challenging and supporting subject teams to achieve the best outcomes for all students.
The Director of Maths will analyse performance data to ensure students are appropriately targeted for support and ensure the consistency of subject delivery.
