The ideal candidate will:
- be a well-qualified teacher of Drama (or a related subject) with expert knowledge and a passion for performance.
- have a relevant degree plus undertaken a post graduate programme and hold a QTS.
- have a record of planning and delivering carefully sequenced lessons.
- have the ability to teach pupils the knowledge and skills required throughout KS3, KS4 and KS5.
- use assessment to check pupils’ understanding of the Drama curriculum, and to identify and correct misunderstandings and inform teaching.
- be able to inspire and make positive relationships with students to encourage great learning.
- have evidence of supporting students to reach their full potential.
- be a resilient character with a strong personal drive.
- be a proficient ICT user to enhance their teaching.
