Pontefract Academies Trust is a cross phase Multi Academy Trust comprising of eight schools, six primaries and two 11 – 16 secondary schools. The Trust is a medium sized family of schools all located within a tight geographic hub within Pontefract. Pupils are drawn from the local community that includes a mix of different catchment areas.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed DT Technician at The King’s School. The candidate will assist support learning by providing practical support for lessons under the instruction of teaching staff. They will support the use of equipment and materials, maintain and monitor stock levels and prepare for lessons in good time.
This post is a 37 hours per week, permanent, term time plus one day role, equating to 191 working days per year.
In addition to the salary for this role, a recruitment and retention allowance of up to £3,500 per annum will be paid for an exceptional candidate. This will be an annual payment, reviewed for up to three years.
