The Role
We are seeking an organised and commercially aware professional to coordinate the planning and delivery of the DTEC's specialist facilities, equipment and capital investment. Working across estates, curriculum, procurement, finance, employers and delivery partners, you will help translate technical training requirements into safe, compliant and industry-relevant learning environments. You will support capital projects from planning through to operational handover, monitor delivery and utilisation, and help ensure investment provides strong value for money and long-term benefit for learners.
What Will You Bring to the Role
- Adapting -Able to manage multiple capital, estates and equipment workstreams simultaneously, adapt to changing project dependencies and requirements, and analyse new information to keep delivery on track.
- Focused -Able to maintain close attention to project detail, compliance, risk, health and safety and delivery milestones, making timely and appropriate decisions when issues arise.
- Problem-solving -Able to diagnose complex project and infrastructure problems, evaluate options and evidence, identify risks and dependencies, and recommend practical solutions that support value for money and successful delivery.
- Interpreting -Able to interpret and work confidently with budgets, cost information, utilisation data, project forecasts and other quantitative information to support sound decisions, monitoring and reporting.
