New Horizons Primary School is seeking to appoint a newly qualified Early Career Teacher (ECT)to join our team on a fixed term basis. We are looking for someone who has the drive, skills and passion to work at our primary academy based in Portsmouth within either KS1 or KS2.

As a member of our teaching team, you will benefit from our commitment to developing practitioners with unrivalled opportunities for progression. With the support of an experienced mentor during your ECT induction, we will provide a nurturing environment in which to advance your teaching and expertise.*Fixed Term until 31/08/2027*

We are looking for a Teacher who will:

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Demonstrate a deep passion for primary education
  • Exhibit outstanding classroom practice, fostering high standards of achievement and behaviour.
  • Design and deliver a creative, engaging, and stimulating curriculum.
  • Be committed to continuous improvement, both for pupils and through personal CPD opportunities.
  • Bring a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills to our school community.
  • Actively contribute to the positive ethos and development of New Horizons Primary School
