What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reflective and committed Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join our dedicated team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school where children are at the heart of everything we do, and where our shared vision and values shape daily practice.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible for the learning, progress and wellbeing of a KS1 class
  • Deliver a creative, engaging and inclusive curriculum aligned with the EYFS–KS1 transition
  • Foster a safe, nurturing and ambitious classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive phase and whole‑school team
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and carers

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified teacher (QTS) with experience or a strong interest in KS1
  • Has high expectations of all pupils and a belief that every child can succeed
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of early reading, phonics and child development
  • Reflects our school values through kindness, integrity, ambition and respect
  • Is reflective, resilient and committed to professional growth
  • Is an excellent communicator and team player
