About the role

Gaywood Primary School is seeking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team.


We are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching and learning and who is eager to develop their practice within a supportive and collaborative environment.


You will work closely with experienced colleagues and benefit from high-quality mentoring and professional development as part of the Early Career Framework.

Gaywood Primary School is a two-form entry school that caters for children from the age of four to eleven years of age. At present, there are 417 children on roll.
We have fantastic facilities including a large field, playgrounds, library, music rooms and classrooms with working walls and corridors with wall art that supports children's learning. Our EYFS outdoor area is stunning and vibrant supporting our youngest children in developing the whole child and our library is stocked with the latest books to tempt and inspire our young children to love reading.

Our aim is to provide a warm, friendly, atmosphere in a safe, caring environment where children will be happy and successful.

To achieve this, it is important that the school and homework together in partnership. This partnership is built through a regular dialogue between parents, child and school.
