Early Years Assistant

36.25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (including training days)

Monday-Friday 8.30am-4.15pm

Actual Salary: £20,399.00 (Grade L2, point 4)

We are looking to appoint a full time Early Years Assistant to join our team.

At Chapel Street Nursery School, we believe the early years of education are the platform on which future academic and personal success is built. We believe that through high expectations and a nurturing approach, we can harness pupils’ natural curiosities and engage them in learning opportunities that allow them to be ready for the learning journey ahead.

The suitable candidate will:

  • Be passionate about supporting our young people to be the best they can be

  • Be a team-player with excellent communication skills

  • Understand early child development including how children with SEND develop

  • Understand how to protect and safeguard our pupils

  • Be dedicated to professional development

  • Become a positive, enthusiastic and driven member of the Chapel Street Nursery School team
