Early Years Assistant job summary

We are offering an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Early Years team. This will be a fixed term contract for the Summer term.

We are looking for someone to work across our Nursery and Reception classes to support children in their learning . If you have a passion for working with children and helping them to make the best possible start to the rest of their lives then please apply.

You will have a clear understanding of how young children learn and the ability to work closely with parents and a variety of other professionals.

You will supporting children’s development and learning through planned play activities and a mixture of adult and child led tasks, building up children’s language, literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities of the role

To promote children’s welfare and have a child centred approach.

Helping children to achieve the learning goals of the EYFS.

Encouraging co-operation and good behaviour.

Making sure that the children are safe at all times.
