What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an excellent EYE with:

    • Completion of Teaching Assistant programme of study to at least Level 3 e.g. NVQ3;
    • Evidence of ongoing professional development; attendance on courses, INSET, action research, personal study etc;
    • Educated to at least GCSE grade C standard or equivalent in English and maths; 
    • Computer literacy: ability to carry out a variety of general ICT tasks e.g. upload photographs;
    • Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these;
    • Displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people, and has an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people.
    • Paediatric First Aid Certificate, or willingness to take qualification.
