Early Years Educator job summary

At Rushbrook Primary Academy, our students are diverse, exciting and talented – and the same is true of our staff. We put huge emphasis on professional development, most of it in-house, and are proud of the high number of good and outstanding teachers who work in our school. We are also noted for our ‘can do’ attitude. We are keen, always, to encourage new staff to make their mark as soon as they are ready.

We are proud to serve our community in Gorton and the surrounding areas. We are looking to build upon our strengths and develop into a truly great place to learn and teach.

Can you help us on our development journey?

Do you want to work for a great provider in a fantastic setting with amazing facilities?

We’d love to hear from Early Years Educators with a passion for nurturing and developing children as they grow. In return, we offer a rewarding career where you can make a difference to the children of our community.

You’ll encourage the use of our fantastic outdoor spaces to benefit the children by experiencing different environments and developing their sense of the world and themselves.

More detail about the role:

As an Early Years Educators, you’ll use your creative flare and the children’s natural curiosity to optimise learning activities around their interests.

You’ll encourage the use of our fantastic outdoor spaces to benefit the children by experiencing different environments and developing their sense of the world and themselves.

The working day is extremely rewarding and involves both child and adult led learning opportunities with the children. Examples of these activities including sharing stories, dressing up, messy play, games, and above all, instilling a sense of fun!

Key duties:

Be part of the team that creates a nurturing environment and deliver high standards of care and education

Plan, implement, and evaluate activities to support the care and development of children attending our nursery

Regularly update records regarding children’s progress and care, feeding back to parents/carers

Encourage best practices and the development of staff knowledge and skills

Ensure safeguarding standards are maintained

Support to all other Childcare Services provision as required

Within this role as Early Years Educator, you will be working within our new 2-year-old provision with our youngest children alongside an Early Years Educator. You will plan for, and work with both small groups of students and on a one-to-one basis.

Within the classroom, there will be a range of children in the formative years of their development. You will be helping to ensure that they have equal opportunity and access to learning and development.

You will be a proactive, positive individual with the ability to work well with different personalities and ideally have experience working with younger children in some capacity.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in working with younger children in a school environment. That being said, we warmly welcome a diverse range of candidates.

School visits are welcome. To arrange please contact the office on 0161 223 5955 or email Diana Matin Dmartin@rpa.bright-futures.co.uk
