Our Early Childhood Education Centre incorporates our two Reception classes and two Nursery classes, offering full- and part-time nursery provision. We are extremely well-resourced and committed to providing engaging, play-based learning that sparks imagination and confidence.

We are a values-based school, where everyone is ambitious, inclusive, and innovative. We only recruit people who are passionate about making a difference to children’s lives; people who are highly reflective and challenge themselves to keep on improving. This means our working relationships can be relatively relaxed and informal. People love working here; we are warm, welcoming, positive, supportive and forward-looking. We have very high expectations of both children and adults.

As an Early Years Educator at Someries, you will:

  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing in line with school and statutory policies

We can offer you:

  • An excellent professional development programme
  • Wonderful, enthusiastic pupils who are eager to learn
  • A supportive, experienced, and caring staff team
  • High adult-to-child ratios
  • Fantastic opportunities for career progression
  • A school that genuinely invests in its people
  • Complimentary refreshments from our Staff Lounge
