Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Year One Phase Leader job summary
Leodis Academies Trust is a successful Multi Academy Trust with five schools in the South Leeds area. As part of our continued growth we are looking for an EYFS and Year One Phase Leader, to join the team at Westerton Primary Academy.
As the EYFS and Year One Phase Leader you will support the Principal in delivering the vision and ethos of the Academy. Employing your previous experience of contributing to and leading EYFS, you will lead the learning and organisation of Nursery, Reception and Year One Pupils. As a proven classroom practitioner, you will monitor and evaluate the delivery of quality first teaching and learning in these classes. Utilising your experience and knowledge of data analysis, target setting and strategy formulation, you will work in a non-class-based role with responsibility of approximately 258 children and 21 colleagues. Using your ability to work in partnership with senior leaders, you will be a valued member of the Senior Leadership Management Team (SLMT) at Westerton, and provide clear educational direction through leading by example. You will be instrumental in supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) as a member of the safeguarding team and will monitor safeguarding arrangements across the phase to ensure a safe and secure setting.
