What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the Headteacher in leading school improvement and managing change
  • Promote high expectations for learning, behaviour, and wellbeing
  • Play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils
  • Inspire and support staff through positive and effective leadership
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence across the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with leadership experience
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection
  • Have the vision and resilience to support an improving school
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Share our values of care, teamwork, and inclusion
  • Have a good understanding of the current issues around the complexity of SEND and specifically SEMH need.

The Governors, staff, parents and pupils of Stainforth Kirton Lane Primary School are

Stainforth Kirton Lane Primary is a LA maintained school and we are situated in a village on
the outskirts of Doncaster, catering for 222 pupils aged 3-11. We are proud of our inclusive
