Early Years Leader job summary
We are looking for an outstanding teacher with a proven track record of good progress and outcomes in the Early Years.
The successful candidate will:
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of how young children learn and develop.
• Be able to facilitate an engaging and stimulating environment for children and adults to thrive together.
• Plan exciting opportunities using the EYFS curriculum and use their skills of assessment to identify gaps in learning.
• Show an understanding of how different children learn and provide carefully planned interventions to ensure progress for all.
• Show experience and success in developing colleagues practice.
• Have knowledge and experience of transition processes for Year R pupils.
• Be part of a Senior Leadership Team and be enthusiastic for school improvement and development.
• Experience of leading another subject in school and understanding of the Year 1 curriculum would be beneficial.
