About the Role
The role involves supporting children’s learning, development, wellbeing, and inclusion within the Early Years environment. This includes assisting with learning activities, supporting children with SEND and individual needs, promoting positive behaviour and independence, maintaining a safe and stimulating classroom, and providing appropriate personal care when required. The role also involves working closely with teachers, the SENCO, parents, and other professionals, following safeguarding procedures, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the classroom.
To thrive in this position, holding a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (or equivalent) is essential, alongside a genuine passion for early childhood development and a commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
