We would love to hear from candidates who:

Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years.

Have experience working within an Early Years setting.

Have a secure understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

Value child-led learning and understand the importance of learning through play.

Are committed to building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Support the planning and delivery of high-quality learning experiences that engage and inspire young children.

Foster children's curiosity, independence and confidence through purposeful play and exploration.

Observe, assess and record children's progress to support their next steps in learning.

Work closely with teachers and colleagues to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.

Promote children's wellbeing, safeguarding, health and safety at all times.

Support the development of communication, language and early reading skills.

Build positive partnerships with parents and carers to support children's learning and development.

Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold the values and ethos of Manor Hill First School.

Engage positively with professional development opportunities and school improvement priorities.
