Brooklands Primary School is looking for a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our wonderful nursery team, working within our brand-new provision for two- and three-year-olds — part of the growing Bluebells Nursery at Brooklands. You'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality care, learning and wrap-around support for our youngest children, working in close collaboration with colleagues and families.

About the Role:

  • As part of the Early Years team, you will:

  • Support the day-to-day care and development of children aged 2-3 in a nurturing, stimulating environment

  • Foster a warm, inclusive and emotionally secure setting that encourages children to thrive

  • Work collaboratively to deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning opportunities

  • Support wraparound provision as part of our nursery care offer

  • Build strong relationships with families, ensuring effective communication and a shared focus on children’s wellbeing

  • Be part of the wider Brooklands team, contributing to our positive, child-centred school ethos

Who You Are:

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or a full and relevant equivalent)

  • Is passionate about early childhood education and child development

  • Has experience working within the EYFS framework

  • Demonstrates a nurturing, empathetic, and patient approach

  • Has strong organisational skills and the ability to lead by example

  • Is a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Is committed to safeguarding and ongoing professional development
